Vestle Finsenuten Summit Hike

If you're short of time or want time to enjoy a hike and spend time relaxing in the village, the Vestle Finsenuten Summit Hike is for you. The route up is short and steep and the walk down is calming and exploratory.

The hike

From the summit you get great views of Finse village and the historic train line winding its way into the distance. Your guide can tell you about the history of the train line and the village as well as show yo some of the interesting artic plants on this hike.

The nature

As you descend via the wild feeling back side of Finsenuten you are treated to views of Florsveghallene valley and the wilderness looks like it goes on forever. Enjoy hiking over the soft moss and picking a way through the rocky outcrops with your guide as we rejoin the Rallarvegen trail to walk back to Finse.

Return to Finse feeling energised and refreshed ready for an afternoon of beer tasting at Finsehytta DNT cabin or playing board games in the library of Hotel Finse 1222.
