Joining us on an overnight trip? Here's what you need to know about things that affect your payment or refunds:

1. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure multi-day trips or courses. We will then send further details and an invoice for the remaining balance, payable via bank transfer.

 

Full payment must be received no later than 6 weeks (42 days) before the trip start date. Failure to pay by this deadline will result in cancellation of your booking.

 

2. If You Need to Cancel

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@snowstormadventures.com.

 

The deposit is non-refundable in all cases. The deposit is 20% of full trip cost, unless otherwise stated.

 

More than 6 weeks before the trip: refund of all payments beyond the deposit.

 

Less than 6 weeks: no refund. We commit to paying our staff, providers and partners in full at this time and we will not negotiate this point. We strongly recommend obtaining trip cancellation insurance to cover your expenses in the event of a last minute cancellation.

 

3. Getting Here by Train

Finse is only accessible by train (no car or bus access). We are not responsible for train delays or cancellations and cannot offer refunds in such cases. We will try to reschedule your trip where possible; otherwise, our cancellation policy applies.

 

4. If We Need to Cancel or Change the Itinerary

Safety is our priority. If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, you will be offered a new date or a full or partial refund. We are never responsible for any additional travel or accommodation costs or losses due to our cancellation of your trip or course.

 

We reserve the right to adjust the itinerary if necessary, while aiming to deliver the planned experience.

 

5. What to Wear and Bring

Finse conditions can be extreme year-round. You must bring the required clothing and equipment listed in the product description. If you are not adequately prepared, we reserve the right to refuse participation without refund.

 

6. Notes on Refund Currencies

All transactions are in NOK. Payments made in other currencies may be affected by exchange rates and bank fees, which we are not responsible for. Refunds are issued in NOK based on the original price.
